15 November 2008. Life-size Bull Elephant is the Star of the Show! The life-size Indian bull elephant on display at the Trolley Gallery, 73a Redchurch Street, London, E2 7DJ, is proving to be a great hit with visitors to the exhibition “Bull in a China Shop” by Stephanie Quayle. 17 January 2009. Re-Launch of Finger Paint and Glitter Paint. We are delighted to announce that we have resumed manufacture of our colourful products, Finger Paint and Glitter Paint. Finger Paint (available in 100ml pots in four bright colours: red, green, blue and yellow) is a thick, water-based, washable paint, specially formulated for application by finger. Glitter Paint is a bright, washable, high quality glitter paint contained in a clear adhesive gel base. It is designed for easy application to card, paper, plastics, etc., by brush or by finger application. Unlike most similar products, Newclay Glitter Paint™ does not settle on storage. 25 March 2009. Wallace & Gromit @ The Science Museum. As you may have heard on Radio Five Live on 24th March, Newclay Products Limited delivered four tonnes of Newplast to the Science Museum for use as part of the Wallace & Gromit Exhibition. The Exhibition runs from Saturday 28th March to Sunday 1st November 2009. More details can be found on the Science Museum web site. |

26 June 2009. Antony Gormley Field for the British Isles. Newclay Products is proud to be a sponsor of the Antony Gormley Field for the British Isles exhibition in the Spanish Barn, Torre Abbey, Torquay. 08 August 2009. New Look for Newplast 500g and a Further Extension to the Range. Newclay Products is introducing a new, modern wrapper design for its entire Newplast 500g range. Current production of Newplast 500g Rainbow and Newplast 500g White is already in the new wrapper and other colours will follow as stocks are replaced. At the same time, we are delighted to announce the 25th member of the Newplast 500g range of colours: Newplast 500g Multicultural. Newplast is the material of choice for the vast majority of animators (including Aardman Animation). Newplast 500g Multicultural is designed to supplement the products targeted primarily for animation and education by enabling creation of skin tones for all ethnic groups around the world. The bar contains one strip each of White, Stone, Grey, Yellow, Peach, Brown, Black, Terracotta and Flesh Newplast. To enable one of our major customers to maintain supplies of dough for schools, Newclay Products has introduced a new addition to the Finger Soft Dough range. The new pack contains six 150g pots of Finger Soft Dough, one each of yellow, orange, red, blue, green and white dough. In the interests of filling a hole in the market quickly, the new 6-pack has been introduced with temporary labels. Depending on demand, new labels will be introduced in due course.
